Generation UK – China internship.
You can select which industry sector you’d like to gain experience in, which of six booming cities you want to work in, as well as a start date that suits you.
Why should I go?
Companies across the world are looking to engage with China and value employees with experience in China immensely. New industries and work opportunities in China are rising faster than the skyscrapers that accommodate them, and China may soon overtake the U.S. as the world’s largest economy.
- Work experience in China will give you an inside view into Chinese culture and business practice, making you aware of cultural differences and similarities between China and the UK.
- Developing a connection with China could be the smartest choice you can make right now and help you stand out from the crowd in future job applications.
Where can I go?
The placements are set up through our partnerships with CRCC Asia and InternChina, who cover a wide variety of industry sectors, including IT, legal, marketing, design, engineering, and hospitality etc.
Which provider you choose to go with depends largely on which city you want to work in and which region is strongest for your industry sector.
Our placements with CRCC Asia are based in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, whereas InternChina placements are based in Qingdao, Chengdu and Zhuhai.
While you might not be familiar with some of these places, we recommend doing a bit of research on all of them, and speaking to advisors to decide which location would be most suitable for you.
